Norma Jean Hammack

	Norma Jean Hammack, age 59, of Clarksville, Tenn., died on Tuesday, August 21, 2001 at 12 p.m. at her home.
	Norma Jean was born in Pinckneyville on June 18, 1942, the daughter of James E. and Lauraine (Teffertillar) Phillips.  She married Lowell H. Hammack on June 20, 1959 in Pinckneyville and he survives.  Norma Jean was a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church in Clarksville, Tenn. and enjoyed gardening, pets, singing and crocheting.
	Survivors include her husband Lowell of Clarksville, Tenn.; her mother, Lauraine Hardin of Pinckneyville; a daughter, Kelly Jean Hoagland and husband Greg of Clarksville, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Kyle Wayne Roberge, Chelsea Jean Roberge, Kathleen Lauraine Hoagland and Jordan Kathleen Hoagland; one brother, Jim Phillips and wife Sandy of Pinckneyville and two sisters, Nancy Greer and husband Wayne of Pinckneyville and Darlene Kunkle and husband Arland of Pinckneyville.
	Funeral services were held at the Trinity Assembly of God Church in Pinckneyville on Friday, August 24 at 11 a.m. with Brother Rob Mathis officiating.  Interment was in the Mueller Hill Cemetery in Pinckneyville.
	Visitation was at the Trinity Assembly of God Church in Pinckneyville on Thursday, August 23 from 6 until 9 p.m. and on Friday from 8 a.m. until services.

	Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home in Pinckneyville was in charge of arrangements.
